Mothers' Union cycles to raise funds

The first weekend of August dawned warm and bright, crowds gathered to watch the 2015 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.  Club cyclists, celebrities and all sorts of amateur riders were among the 25,564 cyclists who competed in Sunday’s event. Looking closely you would have seen three bright blue Mothers’ Union cyclists whizz by.

Mothers’ Union were thrilled to have Ryan, Colin and Stuart cycling on our behalf. They trained hard for the 100 mile race and it showed in their great results: Ryan  4h:25m:09, Colin 07h:11m:49 and Stuart 8h:16m:20. Absolutely brilliant results for them all and throughout their preparation they have also been fundraising really hard for Mothers’ Union. Between them they have raised £3,312.14 so far with more still to come! A brilliant result and we thank them and all who have supported them in their efforts.

There is still an opportunity to show your support for their amazing achievement. If you would like to sponsor them please go to our Donate Now page.

Has this inspired you to take on your own sporting challenge? Why not get involved and raise money for the work of Mothers Union. More information can be found here
